A key figure on the artistic scene during the first half of the 20th century, Paul Klee is the focus of a unique retrospective exhibition at the Pompidou centre! The exhibition retraces the development of the artist’s work in more than 250 artworks, some never before exhibited in France.
Cubism, constructivism, surrealism, satire ... Paul Klee’s work is informed by many genres and the exhibition introduces the visitor to the different facets of his art, with romantic irony as a guide. The works on show, some major others less well-known to the general public, offer a new look at the creative process of the German artist and offer a fascinating foray into the world of this unclassifiable personality.
