There are many public and privately-owned art galleries within a 3km radius of Gyeongbokgung Place. Bukchon Hanok Village is a good starting point, it is a residential area with hilly landscape and beautiful street. Also, You can walk past many galleries like MMCA Seoul through Samcheong-ro.
